BASF to tout latest plastics innovations at NAIAS

BASF will showcase its latest plastics developments during the North American International Auto Show. The company will exhibit products such as plastic wheels made from its Ultramid line and a lightweight thermoplastic frame for car seats co-developed with Faurecia. Such innovations "will help automakers differentiate their vehicles and at the same time make the vehicles more sustainable and energy-efficient," Beate Ehle of BASF North America.
