Exercise monitors can help people lose weight, expert says

Evidence shows that gadgets by Striiv, Fitbit, BodyMedia and Motoactv that track exercise and the number of calories burned can help people lose weight, says University of Pittsburgh researcher John Jakicic. He says most people "have no clue" how many calories they burn in a day.
