D&L Energy Group, which owns the injection well blamed for a series of earthquakes in Ohio last week, is conducting a geologic study to "figure out what's going on," the company said. The well was shut down after Gov. John Kasich imposed a moratorium on injection drilling in the area. D&L spokesman Vince Bivacqua said the company will share the report's findings in hopes of securing clearance to restart the well.
