Work on 78-year old Tenn. bridge on track for 2013 completion

Deterioration of the historic Henley Bridge in Knoxville, Tenn., is being addressed by rehab work that began last year. Demolition of the spandrel columns still needs to be completed, but forms have been set up to create new concrete spandrels and piers. When work is finished by June 2013, the bridge will have two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane at each end.
