10-year Treasurys rise above 3%

With more indicators pointing to the U.S. economic recovery picking up momentum, the 10-year Treasury yield topped 3% and the 30-year bond came close to 4% last week. The spread between 10-year Treasurys and Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities with comparable maturity widened, suggesting that investors anticipate rising consumer prices.
