FTC director plans focus on mobile, native ads

Jessica Rich, director of the Federal Trade Commission's Consumer Protection Bureau, in this interview says she views native advertising and mobile ads as two major trends worthy of her attention. On mobile, she plans to focus on security, payments and investigations. "Consumers appear to be bothered when ads target them based on sensitive information," she said. "The greater fear is the information is not just used for ads."
