More European, U.S. firms shift production from China to home

More U.S. and European companies are bringing manufacturing they once sent to China back to their countries, a process known as reshoring. As labor costs in China rise and the government reduces subsidies, cost savings offered by moving production to China are steadily disappearing. America's General Electric and the Netherlands' Philips are among companies that have decided it makes more sense to manufacture some products at home.
