Parents set bar for children's eating habits

A USA Today article discusses the importance of parents setting a good example for their children's eating habits. According to Keith Ayoob, a pediatric professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a member of the American Council for Fitness and Nutrition's Advisory Board, "Kids need to see their parents eating healthy foods." When it comes to snacks such as cookies or sodas, Ayoob recommends the "Rule of One," saying, "When it comes to high-calorie foods, you're not going to go wrong if you allow one a day."
