Drinking a lot of coffee may stave off diabetes

Researchers found those who consume more than six cups of caffeinated coffee a day may be helping themselves stave off the onset of type II diabetes, with men benefiting more than women. Evidence points to an ingredient in coffee, regular or decaffeinated, that contains potassium, magnesium and antioxidants that appear to counteract the negative effects of insulin sensitivity and improve the body's response to it.
