CES expected to shine in dark economy

The 2009 International CES is expected to weather the current economic downturn, with several technologies taking the spotlight, including wireless and ease-of-use software. CES "will be a bright spot compared to the uncertainty in the rest of the economy," said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association. "As a tech industry we are doing very well and people want to buy things and want to invest."
