Opinion: Cuts in nursing school funding short-sighted

Reductions in nursing school funding would be short-sighted and should not be part of budget-cutting plans for Washington universities, writes Linda Tieman, executive director for the Washington Center for Nursing. She says, "There is a real opportunity to build for our future by making sure the path is clear to fill these high-quality jobs that will maintain and improve the health of the entire state."
