Physicians adapt to smartphones for treatment purposes

Physicians increasingly are using smartphones to supplement patient treatment by purchasing inexpensive applications that can access drug information, medical calendars and EMRs. Many physicians say that they increase their time with patients by using a phone to take notes and research answers to patient questions.
