Study: Telehealth aids veterans with chronic conditions

The use of home health technology can help veterans with chronic conditions better manage their care and reduce hospitalization, according to a new study. The researchers, who reviewed outcomes of 17,025 Veterans Affairs home telehealth patients, said the system is effective because it is cost-efficient and relatively easy to use.
