Wyoming governor requests $400M in highway funding

Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal listed highway projects as a top priority for funding from the federal economic-stimulus package. He requested $400 million for highways from the federal government, after President-elect Barack Obama asked state and local government leaders to submit requests for projects. Freudenthal also requested funding for water development and environmental restoration, among other projects.
