Investors bid up Ciena on NSN takeover speculation

Wall Street is betting that European-based vendors might be tempted to make a run at Ciena, the network-equipment maker that just bought Nortel Networks' Metro Ethernet unit. Ciena's shares jumped on the rumor that Nokia Siemens Networks -- which last year tried to acquire the MEN assets from Nortel Networks -- might buy Ciena, according to analysts.
