NBCT writes children's book, shares story with students

A National Board Certified Teacher has written a children's book, "The Ladybug Waltz," and recently visited an Iowa elementary school to share the book with students and let them act out scenes from the story. Jeanette Hopkins came up with the idea for the book while rocking her sick granddaughter and noticing "dancing" ladybugs on a windowsill. An art teacher at the school illustrated Hopkins' book.
