PricewaterhouseCoopers partner will lead SEC's compliance unit

Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Mary Schapiro has named Carlo di Florio as director of the SEC's office of compliance. Di Florio is a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He will take over a division that was blamed for allowing Bernard Madoff's $50 billion Ponzi scheme to flourish.
