Ads for apps on Facebook mobile perform well

Facebook's mobile application is turning into a reliable platform for ads encouraging app installs, Ingrid Lunden writes. "AdParlor found News Feed ads to be one of the most engaging and effective ad placements on Facebook's platform at the moment, with average click-through-rates of 0.5% ... and sometimes higher depending on the vertical," she writes.
