Iran set to develop new radioisotopes

Iranian Atomic Energy Agency Director Fereidoun Abbasi announced the country is set to produce five new radioisotope drugs, according to a report. Abbasi said reactors are working to produce the drugs. Iran is aiming to become independent in producing radioisotopes after March 21, National Security Committee spokesman Hossein Naqavi Hosseini previously said.
