Bombardier to implement furloughs for 300 Learjet workers

In a memo to employees, Learjet Vice President and General Manager Ralph Acs said, "Bombardier continues to see encouraging signs in the U.S. economy, but the aviation industry still faces challenges, particularly in the light category business aircraft segment." The company is planning to furlough about 300 Learjet workers to be implemented during three two-week blocks.
