District finds success with breakfast in the classroom

School nutrition professionals in a district in Montana are taking steps to ensure students start their day with a healthy meal. The district has adopted a breakfast-in-the-classroom model that features made-from-scratch items, such as scrambled eggs with peppers and onions. More than 70% of students districtwide participate each day, according to district officials.
