Low-calorie chocolate products could lead to market growth

The "hectic lifestyle of consumers and innovative chocolate products, doubling as health supplements, chocolate for the diet conscious, low calorie chocolates etc. [will] lead to significant market growth," the market analysts predicted. However, ConfectioneryNews has indicated that sugar-free chocolate will remain a niche market due to the high cost of sweeteners and their supporting ingredients, compared to the price of standard chocolate production.
