Minister: South Africa's education system stabilising

Following six years of declining student achievement, officials in South Africa on Monday announced that the country has now had four consecutive years of improved pass rates among students. The improvement is led primarily by higher student achievement in maths and science. Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga said the statistics were evidence the education system is stabilising.
