School year in Pakistan to bring new commitment to English

The government in the Pakistani province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has initiated a variety of reforms to promote literacy in the country, and one of its key policies will begin in April when all first grade students will be taught math and science in English. The government wants to ease English into the curriculum and has offered training to teachers to facilitate the transition.
