Study looks at sexting among 7th graders

In a poll of 410 seventh graders with "symptoms of behavioral or emotional difficulties" in Rhode Island, researchers found that 22% said they have participated in sexting in the last six months, with 17% sending suggestive texts alone and 5% sending both texts and photos. Any form of sexting was associated with more sexual activity, according to the study published Monday in the journal Pediatrics.
