Study rejects link between hypothyroidism, cognitive impairment

An analysis of data on 1,904 patients ages 70 to 89 found that those with clinical or subclinical hypothyroidism were no more likely to develop mild cognitive impairment than those with normal thyroid function. The findings appear in the journal JAMA Neurology.
