Texas A&M, DeTar Healthcare to create family residency program

Texas A&M Health Science Center and DeTar Healthcare System this week are expected to outline an agreement to create a family medicine residency program in Victoria, Texas. If approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the program would begin in 2015 and offer a curriculum to encourage physicians to continue practicing in the area after the residency is finished.
