Study Pinpoints Low-Income Groups' Ability To Afford College

A Lumina Foundation for Education study released today says Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Kentucky and Wyoming are the only states where four-year public colleges are affordable for low-income students. Critics say the study "misrepresents reality" and could discourage low-income students from applying to universities.
