Zegerid acid reflux drug yields positive clinical results

A study on the effect of morning dosing on 24-hour gastric-acid control in patients with symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease showed that Zegerid helped patients maintain a gastric pH level of more than 4. The test subjects were able to sustain that level about 43% longer than patients taking Protonix, and 22% longer than those taking Prevacid, the report said.
