Jamaica Tourist Board calls U.S. agents to boost bookings

John Lynch, chairman of the Jamaica Tourist Board, said the group called 50,000 travel agents in the U.S. to wish them Happy New Year and possibly stir bookings. The board wanted to remind agents that the island is accessible from all over the U.S. and offers good value. The board has also increased its advertising spending in the U.S.
