Changes to disability law prompts more bias claims

The Equal Opportunity Employment Commission says there were more than 93,000 job discrimination claims filed in 2009 regarding disability, religion or national origin. There was a 10% increase in disability claims. Changes to the Americans With Disabilities Act have made it easier for employees with treatable conditions, such as diabetes, to say they are disabled.
