Dogs win over cats in popularity contest, poll finds

An Associated Press-Petside.com poll of nearly 2,000 adults found that 74% like dogs a lot and 41% like cats a lot, while 2% said they disliked dogs a lot and 15% said they disliked cats a lot. Of those polled, 59% keep pets, with roughly 74% owning a dog and 47% owning a cat.
