Health alliance aims to improve long-term care quality

A group of 29 health care organizations has formed the Long-Term Care Quality Alliance. The group, led by Mary Naylor of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, will identify performance measures and evidence-based practices that improve the quality of life for long-term care patients.
