Slovakian security officials have sparked international outrage by hiding bomb parts in the checked baggage of an unknowing passenger to test airport screening procedures. The incident occurred on a Saturday flight to Dublin, Ireland, though Irish police were not notified until three days later. While expressing his "profound regret" to the Irish government, Slovak Interior Minister Robert Kalinak insisted no lives had put at risk by the exercise.
