GE Aviation to increase production of jet engines

GE Aviation plans to increase production of jet engines in 2013, the company says. Overall, GE and its joint ventures plan to make 3,600 engines in 2013, compared to 3,400 engines in 2012. "Commercial aviation is doing extremely well. It's across the industry," said a spokesman for the Aerospace Industries Association.
