Despite the presence of larger brands in the fresh juice and smoothie market, Jamba Juice can still excel, according to CEO James White, who recently rang the Nasdaq bell. "We actually think we're playing into a trend that we helped create 22 years ago. Our brand is recognized as one of the healthiest brands in the marketplace, with even all the bigger players included," White said. Jamba Juice grew by 40 locations last year, and it has enjoyed several consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth, White noted.
