Improving the school experience for boys

Boys more likely are to be described as struggling in school, having trouble with reading and disliking school, writes Kelley King, an educational consultant, author and 27-year veteran of the public-school system. King describes in this blog post some ways educators can help make school more comfortable for male students. Among the suggestions are to address the achievement gap, create momentum for school improvement and adopt a "boy perspective."
