NASA's Bill Borucki receives medal for work discovering planets

The National Academy of Sciences has awarded its 2013 Henry Draper Medal to Bill Borucki, chief investigator for NASA's Kepler Space Telescope. Borucki was commended for "his founding concept and visionary leadership" during his tireless work searching for alien planets with the Kepler mission.
