Privacy, security lead concerns in CES panel discussions

Panelists focused on a wide variety of issues in mobile electronics in two discussions held Monday at the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. "I think consumers maybe feel like there is a very significant level of encroachment on their privacy to the benefit of these large companies," Chia Chen of Digitas said. Mozilla privacy engineer Sid Stamm added that "if we introduce transparency, we can make people feel safer about where their data is being stored."
