TVs @ CES: Sony, Panasonic, Sharp unveil new offerings

The Sony news conference at the 2013 International CES featured the introduction of Ultra HD and organic light-emitting diode television sets, while also focusing on the company's new Xperia Z smartphone, which has a quad-core processor. Meanwhile, Sharp touted its indium gallium zinc oxide display technology, showing off a 32-inch LCD monitor with 4K resolution, and Panasonic brought out 32 TV models, evenly divided between LCD TVs and plasma TVs.
