CES keynote: Intel CEO touts the Internet of Things

Intel will soon reveal its hand when it comes to chips for the Internet of Things, CEO Brian Krzanich said in the opening keynote address at the 2014 International CES on Monday. "We want to make everything smart –- that is what Intel does," he said. The chipmaker demonstrated a wireless earpiece that connects with smartphones and employs a software agent to answer a user's questions. Krzanich also unveiled the Edison miniature computer at the 2014 International CES, aiming to entice software developers to create applications for wearable electronics.
