$350 million mixed-use D.C. project gets zoning approval

Zoning officials in Washington have given approval for a 1 million-square-foot mixed-use project that is expected to be a landmark of the NoMA district north of Massachusetts Avenue, near Union Station. The estimated $350 million project, called Washington Gateway, will include two office towers, a 250-unit residential apartment building, a 150-room extended-stay hotel and about 7,000 square feet of retail space.
