R.I. center helps teach new instruction methods

Rhode Island's Dunn Institute teaches newer approaches to student instruction, such as the Orton-Gillingham method, a system designed to link visual, auditory and tactile senses. In 2006, the Dunn Institute trained about 1,000 teachers, but a new partnership with the philanthropic branch of the Hasbro toy company promises to double the number and expand throughout New England.
