CDC: Mississippi leads states in teen births

The CDC says Mississippi has the highest teen birth rate in the U.S. The rate was more than 60% higher than the 2006 national average, with 68 births reported per 1,000 teenage girls. Three New England states have the lowest rates at about half the national average, which is 42 births per 1,000 teenage girls.
