Louisiana pilot aims to keep struggling students in school

A new Louisiana program will target students at risk of dropping out of high school and help them stay in school as part of an effort to lower the incidence of 14,000 public school students dropping out statewide each year. Gov. Bobby Jindal said the pilot program will identify at-risk students so teachers and others can help them earn their GED or high school diploma.
