Mediacom's Commisso looks for reform to retrans system:

Just hours after announcing a new retransmission-consent agreement with Sinclair, Mediacom Chairman Rocco Commisso sent a letter to Senate Communications Subcommittee Chairman John Kerry, D-Mass., asking for relief from broadcasters whose main negotiating tactic is to take programming away from consumers. In the letter, Commisso asked for Kerry's help in reforming a system that has "broadcasters engaging in economic blackmail."
