Philly dogs get retrained after failing bomb-sniff test

Philadelphia International Airport has lost three bomb-sniffing dogs after they were decertified by the TSA. "They are currently in training, and the TSA hopes they will be recertified by the end of the month," an airport spokesman said, while a TSA spokeswoman stressed that "a canine team not certifying is not going to result in a degradation of the overall screening system." Still, a Pennsylvania congressman complained in a letter to TSA that the agency was slow to share information with the airport and local officials.
