The economy may have stopped shedding jobs but the unemployment rate could remain considerably high for some time to come, some experts say. The economy has lost 7.2 million jobs since the beginning of 2008 and national unemployment is hovering around 10%. "The problem is recovery doesn't mean recovered," said Lakshman Achuthan, managing director of Economic Cycle Research Institute. "We need a long recovery to get back 7 million jobs."
