Ugandan anti-gay bill won't be withdrawn

Ugandan legislator David Bahati announced that he will reject any requests to withdraw a stringent anti-gay bill that includes death-penalty provisions. Foreign pressure has led other government representatives to distance themselves from the bill, which would make any homosexual act punishable with life in prison and cover extradition for gay Ugandans abroad.
