CE devices become simpler to use and gain more features

The trend in consumer electronics is simpler, easier-to-use products, says Shawn DuBravac, chief economist for the Consumer Electronics Association. "Gesture and voice controls are showing up in more devices," he noted at a media preview for the 2012 International CES, citing the Kinect motion-recognition device for Microsoft's Xbox 360 game console.
